Who is Miss Monster?

img_0411b

My name is Melita Curphy and I am a full time artist.

I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago ’96-2000 after graduating from the Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts in California. My sculpture work work is mostly self taught.

The majority of my time is spent running my online store out of my home. I design all the items there and make most of them by hand.  I have had the opportunity to create work for companies such as Sideshow Collectibles, Cryptozoic Entertainment , the movie A Scanner Darkly and a wide range of art for various private clients and fellow artists.

I can be contacted at missmonsterstore at gmail dot com. Due to my schedule I’m not open to custom work.

If you want to see my work up close and in person, please find my table at the spring Monsterpalooza every year! I will also be attending Designer Con in 2016.

You can see much more of my work by checking out my instagram or tumblr!
