 missmonster This costume was made up as I went along. I wanted to make something
with large horns and fangs but the idea for the armor came from a
friend who does leather work. The armor is all handmade by me ( with
my friend's guidance) and the horns are real ram horns that contain a
thick wire bolted to the skull of the mask. The hair is real horsehair
that I glued on lock by lock. The head isn't exactly light but it's
not as bad as it looks though I do have to take a head break every
half hour or so. The legs are foamed to have a digitigrade appearance
while letting my legs remain in a normal postion. The hooves are
actually hoochie platform wedge heels which are of course very
uncomfortable...but they work well so it's worth it. I used wire, foam
and paper mache coated with plastic for the hooves. I'm very proud of
this as it is my first full sized costume.
